You're getting better at this, nice work, love the bottle opener.
The wood does come up quite well, what finish did you use?
My only suggestions would be use a couple of mosaic pins to contrast the wood and spacers and remove the sharp edge on the blade for a few mm in front of the bottle opener, so it levers the bottle top off rather than piercing it.

Thanks ,I have been meaning to get a few mosaic pins to play with do you know where to get them at a fair price.
I take the wood down to 600 grit then use a fairly worn abrasive sponge that you get from Abasiveflex then use 000 wire wool and Penatrol wood oil.
I have tried popping tops with the opener and they do come off ok.

For a fair price? Nope.
I know Clive makes his own, no harm in asking him how its done.
Theyre just different shape tubeing fitted inside one another and set with a colourful resin.
I ve seen a burst on the internet on how to make them, but Im buggered if I can remember where.
That's a good looking knife. I love the shape. What did it sell for?

I have seen how they make them with tubes and pins its just more bits to buy ,some one in the USA sells them on EBay but postage kills.

Excellent work. Wish I had the time to have a go myself.
I've been looking at kits & bits. Not sure what a fair price is, but have a look at http://www.knifekits.com or Jantz Supply (from http://www.knivesaustralia.com.au Keith Spencer?). The have quite a few different types and styles of mosaic pins available.
