Bought myself an Edgepro Apex Sharpener, so the Lansky is up for sale. SOLD
It's the Lansky Deluxe (not diamond), 5 stones, all complete in the box, with instructions.
Used it maybe 4 or 5 times on some small folders I have.
Originally, I used a bit of oil, but since reading up and experimenting, I found dry to be best, and a lack of oil hasn't affected the stones at all.
The stones are clean, not worn.
Included is the "Super C Clamp".
I think I paid $70 for it new, plus the clamp at about $25.
Personally, I think the Lansky works very well, but having seen the Edgepro in action, I prefer the wider stones, with no clamp, especially for bigger knives. I find it fiddly to reclamp every 3 inches or so.
How much for the Lansky? How's $50 for the kit and clamp, plus postage.
