If you are serious about this one, I will hold it for you.
Pictures don't do this big fella any justice, holding it in your hand makes all the difference. The last one I saw sold on Bladeforums for over US$ 400.00.
If you want to see it first, let me know and we can arrange something.

Only pic I have of my CF Police
That Busse is a steal, I would have brought that too.
Damm, they are mightly fine knives Stockman, I would of been very keen on the Busse and Skirmish if I wasn't so financially challenged this month ...
I would be interested in the Busse if it was still available. Cheers, Nick.

The Busse is popular.
As it stands, Forrie is first in line to take this lump of INFI, Cary wants it and has committed to buy it, if its not what Forrie is looking for, after he inspects it today. Will let you know the outcome Perksy.
It cost me a fair bit more than what I am asking for it, but I need the cash and would prefer to sell to an Aussie as the postage cost to send overseas would be an arm and a leg.
The LE Spyderco CF Police is one for the collectors, the last one that I saw selling on Ebay was sold for US$260.00 = about $350.00 Aus.
No worries mate. Just let us know. Thanks, Nick.
I would have thought I was second option on the Busse after Forrie.
Read the thread in order.
Anyway I doubt it will still be here after Forrie sees it.

Sorry Apatari, you were right on both counts. Forrie has just left a proud Busse owner. I am missing it already, but I still have my SR Camp Tramp and a big Bark River if I get the urge to chop a tree into small pieces.
Thanks all of you for the interest.
The BM and Spydy are still available.

It would be my pleasure - bring around any knives you need sharpening, will show you how to use a Sharpmaker to create a great edge and your Strop to make it dangerously scary sharp.
Once you know how to use your strop, you will never have a knife in the house that won't shave.
C U Saturday.

ok thanks mate , cya then
I keep hearing about the famous stockman strop and compound guys any chance of a pic or 2?? Please
i'm sure sirgalant will when he goes there i wont make it :( farken work gtg to bunbury again yay. the only reason i like his strop is because it's realy easy to make it and the compound out of the green Josco polish stuff ( pick it up from bunnings about 15 bucks ) the knifes come out hair poping sharp literaly real easy to matain the edge with out taking much metal off at all

The NO-e is a great knife. A good all round bush knife.
I believe that I can give you some history on the sheath.
Dwayne Puckett of Texas made a set of four of these for a fella that never came back for them. There was a BA-e, NO-e, SH-e and the BM-e
I bought the BA-e for a custom BA-e. They have a rattlesnake inlet. If I had been quick enough I would have bought the whole four of them.
Here’s a picture of the one that I bought.

Gday Trumby,
Thanks for the great info on the sheath, it was a beautifully made piece. I am sure the new owner Forrie will get lots of pleasure from this rig. It appears that you have a strong affiliation with the Hogs and have one heck of a collection. Have always had an eye for the satin finish AD, but still waiting for one to pop up somewhere.
SirGalant,
It was great to catch up with you and your lovely girlfriend on Saturday. Nice to see you as well Forrie. Glad that the few stropping hints were of some assistance. I am sure that the two pieces you picked up will enhance your collection.
Officially, The Busse NO/E, Spyderco CF Police and the Benchmade Skirmish are all sold and are happy in their new homes. Thanks all for the interest.

What is the handle of the NO-e made off?
Is if micarta or dynawood? and is it checkering?
Looks good, a little grippy(?) but not really sharp like good checkering.
Stockman
21-11-2006, 08:48
Gday Stew, All of the Busses use Micarta, either Paper, Canvas or Linen. Busse have probably used other handle materials that I am not aware of. Trumby, please jump in and correct me if I am wrong on this one, looking at your collection, you would be the Busse master here in Aus.
The NO/E I sold to Forrie was made from a sort of Green/Grey Canvas Micarta, very grippy without being rough.

wouldn`t hesitate to use that 630 skirmish , if i had to. also , i was wondering Glen , can you sharpen serrations on the strop?
Stockman
29-11-2006, 08:33
Gday mate,
I don't think the strop is the right tool for serrations, I think that they might dig into the leather. The Sharpmaker works a treat on serrations. You can borrow mine if you want to tickle up your serrated knives or bring them over and do them here.
Good to here that you have no hesitations about using the Big 630, its a brute of a folder.

I've had the complaint I should sell a 204 with either bandaids or a tournique.

heh heh i like that . can`t wait till i`m good with it. i sharpen my spydies on the strop , but this way i can sharpen my serrated edges as well when i`m good wih it. i`m a man who like his combo edges/fully serrated edges as much as i like my plain edges . all 3 edges have their uses.
as all three items have been sold and this thread has not died i am locking to continue discussion create a thread in General Chat
cheers forrie
